The company was fouded from the Standard company by the selling its machinery by V. Stein to Jaroslav Zajíc and Robert Storch. In June 1945 Jaroslav Zajíc was appointed manager of confiscated assets the displaced Germans in Litoměřice. With Robert Storch there leased production premises and started working in 1946. Artis symbol and its logo were invented by Robert Storch, who after a split with his partner left the company in 1948. The interesting thing is the export of rackets to the Soviet Uninon in Exchange then scare spokes. However, they were of poor quality, and the next cooperation finished very soon.
