The Standard was the most important manufacturer of rackets in the Czechoslovak Republic and employed up to 23 people. These people were come into the production by master from France, which was personally imported by Mr. Stein. On the development and improvement of their products, the company also cooperated with our best player of that time Jan Koželuh. Producing tennic rackets as their brand of Standard as well as for major retailer for example E. Fiedler or Sport Josef Svoboda, and even with one model the company has broken even to the French trade. The factory was in Prague-Modřany.
